Welcome to RunPete.com!

Let Me Introduce Myself

Hi! My name is Pete and welcome to my site. I recently graduated from Illinois State University. However, I left 40 pounds heavier than when I started. I am overweight and unhealthy. Yet, I have a plan! I am going to run to get back into shape.

In high school I used to run at least 5 miles a day, swim, and work out to keep in shape. Running is a great way to stay healthy, energetic, and keep your mind in shape as well.

What is RunPete All About?

This web site is my personal running blog which will track how far I run each day, how much weight I lose, and most importantly, serve as a motivational tool for myself and others to use to get them back into shape.

The Blogs

All of what I do will be tracked in one of two blogs: the Running Blog, and the Log Blog. The Running Log will focus on how I am running, what I am doing to improve my running, and tips and advice for all runners. The Log Blog will list all the vital statistics related to my running: weight, miles logged, etc.

Resources

What books do I read to keep me on track? Where do I go online for support? All my, and reader, favorite resources are listed on this page. Everything from books to blogs to web sites.

Updates

There is a blog called the Site News and Updates blog that you can check out to see what is going on with the site. This is where I will be posting anything site related. This will be the most active blog until I start running!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope to see you on RunPete.com
